We are pleased to announce that our July Community Love Partner is the People’s Pantry. The People’s Pantry is a registered British Columbia charity whose mission is to rescue food that is destined for the landfill and redistribute it to people in need. It turns wasting into tasting for over 200 Tri-Cities residents every week! The People’s Pantry does its great work with compassion, care and dignity and has been nominated as Best Non-Profit of the Year for the past two consecutive yeasts. Food insecurity is a very serious issue in Canada with approximately 840,000 Canadian facing hunger daily.

The People’s Pantry is committed to reducing food insecurity in our Community and we are very proud to partner with them this month. The Community Love Doughnut the People’s Choice has selected as the Community Love Doughnut for July is the Salted Caramel Old Fashioned. This month partial proceeds of this doughnut for the entire month of July will be donated to the People’s Pantry.
